Dinner Date is United Way of Saskatoon and Area’s premier fundraising event and is designed to recognize outstanding leadership in our community. The strength of any community comes from its leadership. The leaders in Saskatoon’s business, labour, public, aboriginal, government and professional community have done a great deal to enhance our community’s social safety net. Each year, members from the community who symbolize citizenship, philanthropy and community spirit are selected by our Board of Directors to honour at the event.
Since its inception in 1996, this event has raised more than $2.5 million that has been invested by United Way into important programs, services and initiatives right here in our community.
In 2016, United Way will host its very last Dinner Date and pay tribute to 20 years of incredible community builders by honouring and celebrating all of the past Dinner Date Honourees.
