Day of Caring is a partnership between United Way, business and labour groups, and community non-profit organizations. This unique opportunity allows participants to experience the rewards of volunteerism, and demonstrates the difference they can make in our community by working together. This could include projects such as assisting with a social activity, putting together care packages for clients or making gathering spaces more comfortable – tasks that may not otherwise happen without volunteer assistance.
During the 2016 Day of Caring, 252 volunteers collectively donated 1391 hours of their time to 17 agencies right here in Saskatoon and area.
