Employee Giving

Employee Giving represents 51% of United Way’s Community Campaign revenue. When organizations sign up for an Employee Giving Campaign, United Way assists them in running an Employee Campaign. Each Employee Campaign has an Employee Campaign Chair (ECC), who is appointed by the organization. The ECC’s lead and organize a campaign throughout their workplace by soliciting employee support for United Way.

United Way of Saskatoon and Area provides ample training and support to ECCs. Not only do they receive a half-day training session and manual, they are also given employee campaign planning and recruitment tips, United Way brochures, posters and thermometers, ideas for special events, and more.

For more than 50 years, citizens of Saskatoon and Area have helped United Way raise and invest more than $65M in our community. You can be a part of this initiative by incorporating Employee Giving into your workplace. Please phone the United Way office at 975-7700 for more information.
