Leadership Program
What is Leadership Giving?
The Leadership Giving program is the fastest growing giving program at United Way and recognizes the impact of personal giving to the community through the United Way.
Our Leaders are the foundation of United Way of Saskatoon & Area's Community Building process. These individuals understand the enormous impact their investment has on the community and they lead our community in personal giving, philanthropy and community spirit.
Join the Leadership Giving Program with a donation to United Way at one of these giving levels:
- PHILANTHROPISTS' CIRCLE $25,000 or more
- LEADERS OF DISTINCTION $10,000 - $24,999
- PATRONS $5,000 - $9,999
- BUILDERS $2,400 - $4,999
- LEADERS OF THE WAY $1,000 - $2,499
Message from Leadership Program Division Chair
Thank you to all the 2008 Leadership Giving Program Donors. Your vision, philanthropy and dedication to our community is outstanding.
A United Way Leader is someone, like you and I, who wants to make a difference. The United Way of Saskatoon and Area recognizes and appreciates your generous support of our community through the Leadership Giving Program. Your gift to our community through the United Way ensures people in Saskatoon have access to quality human services.
In 2008 the Community Campaign was a success raising over $4.12M with nearly 25% of the campaign donations coming from 633 people in our community who participated in our Leadership Giving Program. The Leadership Giving Program donors alone account for $1,044,771 invested into the community in 2008. This achievement shows that philanthropy in Saskatoon is growing – together we are creating a more caring culture in which to live, work and play.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our community. Together we are creating a better community.
Why United Way? Because it’s where you live.
Thank You
