Leadership Program

“The very essence of leadership is that you have to have a vision.”

~ Theodore Hesburgh ~

United Way’s Leadership Giving Program donors share our vision of bringing people and resources together to build vibrant, caring communities.  The Leadership Giving Program recognizes donors who give $1,000 more.

Our United Way believes for a community to be truly great, it must be great for everyone.  As a member of a movement committed to community impact, United Way works to bring about long-term improvements to the quality of life in our community.  We engage all of the community’s resources – financial, time and knowledge. Your investment in your community inspires change and encourages others to challenge their assumptions of who relies on the work of United Way.

Consider joining the Leadership Giving Program with a donation to United Way at one of these giving levels:

Leadership Matching Program

A Leadership Gift to United Way of Saskatoon and Area is a gift of $1,000 or more. In our last Community Campaign, 848 United Way Leaders led change by collectively contributing more than $1.5M. This outstanding commitment to positive change is nothing short of remarkable. These acts of leadership strengthen the social fabric of our community.

In recent years our province has experienced economic surges, but unfortunately there is still a growing gap between the rich and the poor. United Way’s Community Fund provides support to human services organizations in Saskatoon, working to bridge the gap. Through our generous supporters, we have an opportunity to continue improving the quality of life for everyone in our community.

This opportunity has now been expanded. An Anonymous Donor has been inspired by the hard work and dedication of United Way of Saskatoon and Area. The Donor sees the value in the work that we do and has proposed a $100,000 Leadership Gift Matching Program in support of our mission to improve lives and build community.

The matching program will operate as such:
