Loaned Representative Program

The Program

Each fall, a group of energetic and enthusiastic individuals join the United Way of Saskatoon volunteers and staff for 15 weeks and work with us to impact the community.  The Loaned Representative program gives those who participate the opportunity to discover untapped skills and work towards a common goal of building community through the United Way. Leadership, teambuilding, mentoring, public speaking and communications skills are just some examples of skills that Loaned Representatives have the opportunity to utilize and strengthen.  Each year these individuals are challenged, changed and energized!  After the dust settles and goals are met, these renewed individuals return to their workplaces with new skills and a new perspective on the community in which they live.

The partnership between you and the United Way of Saskatoon will assist you in a shared goal of enhancing skills of already highly skilled individuals for the betterment of our community.

The Loaned Representative program offers your organization the opportunity to be leaders in the community and helps support your existing efforts to work within your community.  Along with our comprehensive recognition program, your organization will also receive exposure through new contacts in the community.

Loaned Representatives are an instrumental link to the United Way employee workplace campaigns and function as ambassadors of United Way in our community.  These individuals provide United Way with the support necessary to conduct effective employee campaigns.  They do this by assisting with delivery of workplace training, coordination of and participation in speaker presentations for employee group meetings, assisting with the coordination of workplace special events and reporting on and evaluating results.
