United Way of Saskatoon and Area invests resources towards addressing complex social issues in our community. We work diligently to strengthen and support a network of local agencies, programs and services so that our community can be great for everyone.
Each United Way funding stream targets different needs in our community; however, what each stream has in common is the intent to build community and improve lives.
United Way of Saskatoon and Area provides long-term funding to local agencies. These investments help ensure hundreds of programs and services are available to improve lives and strengthen our communities.
Agencies receiving long-term funding undergo a detailed annual review with trained community volunteers, United Way Board and staff members.
United Way of Saskatoon and Area delivers short-term grants for programs aligned with United Way focus areas and addressing vital or emerging needs in our community. Maximizing community impact, resources are pooled with the City of Saskatoon.
