Are you a fundraising professional who wants to find a meaningful place to volunteer? Can you demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills?
Do you want to help the Saskatoon Sexual Assault & Information Centre (SSAIC) achieve their goal of going out of business? (We would be happy to find new jobs if it meant the end of sexual violence in our city!)
Would you like to use your expertise to help SSAIC support victims of sexual violence?
|Skills Required||We are looking for a passionate, dedicated professional with marketing, communications or fundraising experience to support our Manager of Communications & Fund Development. Your experience in communication, relationship building, and fund development will play a vital role in the financial health and growth of our agency, whose services are 100% free of charge to survivors of sexual violence in Saskatoon and area. Your skills will be needed to meet the targets in our newly designed Resource Development Plan, which has a heavy focus on community partnership and donor stewardship. Depending on your skills and abilities you will have opportunities to: • Support the Manager of Communications & Development in the development and execution of a well-diversified fund development program • Assist in identifying, developing, and implementing operational plans and tactics for growing community presence, fundraising, and business relationships • Assist in the writing of reports and stewardship communications • Assist in maintaining ongoing relationships with donors and sponsors • Provide administrative support for donor stewardship activities • Update fund development tracking and reporting measures|
|Benefits to Volunteer||Whether you are a student looking for workplace experience as part of a course requirement, or an experienced professional looking to volunteer, SSAIC will help to fulfill evaluations and reporting as necessary.
