As part of United Way’s focus to move people from poverty to possibility, we are engaged in the Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership – a collaborative initiative to reduce poverty in our community.
The Saskatoon Poverty Reduction Partnership (SPRP) was established in 2010 and has evolved from a long history of community collaboration. The partnership is based on mutual commitment to multi-sectoral and sustainable poverty reduction in Saskatoon.
Since 2010, the SPRP has achieved the following:
United Way’s involvement with the SPRP has also led to the development of A Plan to End Homelessness in Saskatoon. Working together with our community partners, our goal is to move people out of poverty, into sustainable healthy situations, where their basic needs can be met.
